Art on the Porches is a beloved summer art event in Syracuse, New York, that transforms Ruskin Avenue into a vibrant celebration of community, creativity, and architecture. Set against the backdrop of the neighborhood's beautiful historic porches, the event brings together artist vendors, hands-on workshops, live music, and local food trucks for a day of discovery and connection.

For this year's poster, I wanted to capture that same spirit of warmth and togetherness. Drawing from my Risograph practice, I built the design around a bold, joyful palette that echoes the energy of a summer afternoon on the block. The composition plays with texture and layering, much like the Riso printing process itself, to create a piece that feels both handcrafted and lively, just like the event it represents.
