Every day on my way to school, I pass Boom Babies a vintage store in Syracuse that never fails to dazzle with its vibrant displays of retro dresses, bold gowns, and eclectic treasures. Inspired by Ellen McCauley’s poem and its 1960s-style illustration, I channeled the same energy into this design. Think psychedelic posters: swirling colors, dynamic patterns, and playful, distorted typography that mirrors the store’s infectious charm. Just like passing by Boom Babies, this piece is meant to spark joy and movement a celebration of bold, unapologetic style.
