Green Lantern Comics Pastiche

In my recreation of this comic cover, I reimagine Hal Jordan’s descent into darkness as a chaotic culinary rampage led by none other than Chef Gordon Ramsay. The original cover that was illustrated by Darryl Banks is a hallmark of the 90s era in comics, which comprised expressionism, hyper rendering, and dramatic lighting. Hal’s crazed look with clenched fists adorned with multiple lantern rings, along with the void behind him, creates a sense of obsession and lost morality.
